Leonard F. Eck, Pres.
Ecktronics, Corporation

Ecktronics Corporation, headquartered in McPherson, Kansas, was founded in 1996 by Leonard F. Eck. The former VP of Research and Development for Kansas Jack, Inc., Eck was one of the original founders of Kansas Jack in the early 1950's. (Kansas Jack was later purchased by Hein-Werner Corporation, and is today owned by Snap-On Tools.) Mr. Eck was responsible for most of Kansas Jack's designs, developing 20 patents during 4 decades with the company. Some of these patents were in the area of laser alignment systems. In the late 1980's Eck conceived a new design for a vertical-plane, rotary laser. Since his departure from Kansas Jack in 1993, Leonard Eck has also received numerous requests to do repair and upgrading of aging Kansas Jack laser alignment units. These factors became the impetus for Ecktronics, Corporation.

Ecktronics, in addition to repairing older "HeNe" alignment lasers, offers new, state-of-the-art diode lasers. To keep costs down for the customer, Ecktronics often retro-fits the venerable "EL" HeNe laser to include a modern diode laser. This lightweight hybrid features a more precise dot and a line for making measurements. Warranteed for a year, this unit costs just a fraction of a new laser.

Ecktronics continually strives to meet the unique needs of the modern body shop with an ongoing program of design and development in the field of laser alignment. Please visit our other web pages to view photos of the many quality Ecktronics laser alignment products.
